For our global Headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for a colleague who is hungry for a delicious career: Are you ready for a delicious career in METRO?
 
 
Your success recipe in that role:
  • Responsible for global employer branding activities including the (re-) development of an effective and efficient global employer branding strategy and concept, creating recognition for METRO as a brand on the local and international job market
  • Build partnerships with universities and business schools in Germany and internationally, in order to (re-)activate the employer recognition among students and young professionals and to attract high potential talents
  • Definition of contemporary recruiting strategies and innovative HR marketing concepts to expand the online and offline presence for various target groups
  • Review the effectiveness and return on investment of the branding activities and campaigns to ensure that METRO remains among the top preferred employers in Germany and internationally
  • Staying in direct contact with HR colleagues and Managers in all METRO countries / companies to discuss and improve the results and effectiveness of the Employer Branding strategies and HR marketing campaigns
  • Keep yourself updated and informed about the recent developments in the various job markets; on social media and offline. Pro-actively introduce new concepts to keep up with those developments

 

Your ingredients:
  • 3+ years of experience in subject area and beyond the subject area, in international business on expert level, preferably in wholesale or retail
  • University degree – Masters in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication or related field
  • Proven experience of successful development and execution of worldwide employer branding strategies and initiatives; business and HR background needed
  • Experience in Employer Branding and HR marketing strategies, concepts and projects
  • In-depth understanding of key employer brand & recruiting concepts, methodology, tools and techniques
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Social Media landscape and their emerging opportunities for talent acquisition and retention
  • Knowledge related to cultural competence and international cultural differences
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills and ability to communicate with various levels of management and external target groups
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
